Nathan Keys
Originally from the countryside of Northern Ireland, Nathan Keys moved to Canada with his family in 2007 when he was 14 years old. He led worship at a local church in Winnipeg, Canada for 10 years from 2013 to 2023 and is now pursuing a career as a Christian artist, writing music for the Church to proclaim.
Growing up, Nathan was a shy, introverted kid with a fear of public speaking. However, God gave him the strength to lead worship. Before stepping into worship leading, he played rhythm guitar for several worship teams at his church. In 2011/2012, when the worship leader invited him to join the team, Nathan felt God's call to lead people in worship in Spirit and Truth (John 4:24).
One of Nathan's favorite worship songs is "The Heart of Worship" by Matt Redman, a song that shaped his approach to worship leadership. Rather than focusing on lights or effects, his heart has always been for God's people to fall before The True Living God in genuine worship. While he loves leading with a full band, he found an intimacy in worshiping with just a guitar or piano and voices lifted to heaven.
Nathan has been married to his beautiful, God-fearing wife since 2018, and together they have a sweet little boy and girl. Although his time as a worship leader has come to a close, Nathan remains faithful to the calling God has placed on his life.
You can find Nathan's music anywhere you listen to music.
